Western National – Sandy, UT Recap

Longville, MN – The team is back in Minnesota and Wisconsin from the ACSS Western National race held at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. It was the first time ACSS National Tour had hit a town on the Western Side of the U.S. and it turned out to be quite an event. The one-day National consisted of qualifying during the day and having the main show start at 7:00 p.m. that night.

“It is a pretty cool place,” said Levi LaVallee in regards to the Rio Tinto Stadium, “the fans here are awesome and I hope we are able to make this a permanent stop on the ACSSNational Tour from here on out.” The Western National had a great turnout, with over 9,000 fans attending the event.

Race Results: Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee, had excellent rounds of qualifying with allowing him to be the 2nd Qualifier for the Pro Stock Final and the 7th qualifier for the Pro Open Final. With the limitations of a smaller track, it caused challenges for all riders, including Levi. Pro Open Final: Towards the endof this race, Levi got tangled up with another rider finishing in the 13th place spot. In the Pro Stock Final, Levi stayed consistent throughout the race finishing in a notable 6th position. Semi Pro Rider, Chris Kafka rode strong all weekend finishing with a Podium spot in his Semi Pro Super Stock #1 with an awesome 3rd place finish. In Semi Pro Super Stock #2, Kafka rounded out the weekend with a 10th place finish.
