Longville, MN — June 17, 2026 — Team LaVallee is excited to welcome Drew Freeland to the Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull race trailer for the upcoming snocross season. Freeland will compete in the Pro Lite class under the Team LaVallee tent alongside Pro rider Ryley Bester.
Drew’s younger brother, Brady Freeland, will also join under the Team LaVallee Grassroots program as a satellite rider, competing in the Sport Class alongside Cody Moras.
Drew Freeland, 21, from Corcoran, Minnesota, will race the No. 28 Polaris in Pro Lite. He has been racing snocross since he was eight years old and has continued to climb through the ranks, earning multiple Pro Lite final wins and finishing 3rd overall in Pro Lite last season.
After seven years racing Ski-Doo, Freeland said the timing felt right to make a change and take on a new opportunity with Polaris and Team LaVallee.
“I had an amazing seven years riding Ski-Doo, but for myself, I needed to try something new,” Drew said. “This was the perfect opportunity at the perfect time.”
For Drew, the move to Polaris brings excitement around the people, support and race program behind the brand, along with the opportunity to be part of the same Team LaVallee program as Bester.
“I’m excited to work with the team at Polaris,” Drew said. “They are very hands-on and invested in making sure their riders are happy and have all the tools necessary for success. I’m also excited to be under the same tent as Ryley Bester. I grew up always one class behind him, and he and his dad helped me when I was younger. It’s really cool to now be part of the same program.”
Freeland said the move to Polaris and Team LaVallee feels like the right next step in his career. After spending time on the Polaris race sled, he already feels right at home with the power, handling and overall direction of the program.
Drew enters the season with a clear goal.
“My goals for this season are pretty black and white,” Drew said. “I am here to win the Pro Lite Championship.”
Brady Freeland, 17, also from Corcoran, Minnesota, will race the No. 831 Polaris in the Sport Class as part of the Team LaVallee Grassroots program. Brady has been racing for 13 years and is focused on competing for wins this winter.
“I’m excited to race Polaris, and having the support from Team LaVallee will be huge for me this season,” Brady said. “Ultimately, my goal is to win the Sport Championship.”
For Team LaVallee, adding Drew to the Pro Lite program and Brady to the grassroots program is an exciting next step as the team continues to build for the future.
“We’re excited to welcome Drew and Brady to Team LaVallee and Polaris,” said Levi LaVallee. “Drew has already proven he can win in Pro Lite, and Brady is hungry and ready to keep building in Sport. Our motto has always been simple: work hard, be positive and have fun. That’s what we’re all about, and we feel like we have the right people, tools and support around these riders to help them reach their goals. We’re excited to get to work and see what this season brings.”
