TEAM LAVALLEE: FOUR PODIUMS IN FARGO SNOCROSS

Longville, MN (February 9, 2021) - The Red River Valley Speedway was the host to Rounds 7 and 8 and a new stop on the ACS National Snocross Series. Despite the frigid cold temps (dipping to -15º F on Saturday night), the course track-side was one of the largest track’s we’ve seen this season with big air, huge rhythm sections, and a drop-down start.

PRO / PALLIN

Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider and series Fan Favorite, Kyle Pallin started the weekend off on a high note. With taking a 5th and 4th in his qualifying rounds, Pallin qualified 9th overall and that allowed him a great gate pick in the front row of the Pro 7 Final. Under the lights, Friday night, Pallin came out of the gate towards the front of the pack and quickly moved up to the 2nd place position. With a track built to suit Pallin’s riding style, Pallin continued to run strong and smooth in the 10 minute plus two Lap Pro Final, and finished on the podium in the awesome 2nd place spot. Congrats Kyle!

For Day 2, Round 8 of racing, Pallin took a 7th and 6th place finish in his qualifying rounds and lined up in the back row of the Pro Round 8 Final, Saturday night. Coming from the back row, Pallin was ready for the 10 minute plus 2 lap final (which led to 18 laps total) Saturday night. Coming out of the gate, Pallin started working his way up through the pack, two minutes in, Pallin was up to 11th place and at the 5 minute mark, Pallin was up to the 10th place spot. With one final lap to go, Pallin and another rider unfortunately got together, causing Pallin to fall back and rounding out the 2 Day Fargo National in the 12th place spot.

PRO LITE / PETERSON

After an awesome weekend at the Deadwood National and taking another Podium finish, Pro Lite Rider, Adam Peterson was eager for Rounds 7 and 8 in Fargo. Peterson started out the 2 Day National taking a 2nd and 5th place finish in his respective qualifying rounds. Under the lights Friday night, Peterson and his Polaris, Red Bull, Walker Evans Racing snowmobile shot out of the gate earning him the “Studboy Holdshot Award” and allowing an early lead in the 10 Lap Pro Lite Final. On Lap 2 of 10, another rider managed to get by but Peterson held his line and position for the remainder of the race and finished the Pro Lite Round 7 final in 2nd place!

On Saturday, for Round 8, Peterson started the day out swinging, with a 1st and 2nd place finish in his qualifying rounds. Off of the line of the Round 8 Pro Lite Final, Peterson got pinched off of the start but worked his way up to the 3rd place spot. Peterson continued to charge and took a 3rd place finish Saturday night, earning his sixth Podium of the season and keeping a solid lead on the overall standing for the Pro Lite points Championship battle. Congrats Adam!

RO LITE / BESTER

Pro Lite Rider, Ryley Bester started out the Fargo National with an awesome 2nd and 4th place finish in his respective qualifying rounds and secured a front row spot in the Pro Lite Round 7 Final. Under the lights, Friday night, Bester had an incredible start on his Polaris, Red Bull, Walker Evans racing snowmobile and was sitting in the 3rd place position. Bester continued riding strong and consistent and with a couple laps to go, Bester caught a nasty ice edge and took a hard spill, causing him to fall back and end the Round 7 Pro Lite Final in the 13th place spot.

On Saturday, for Round 8, Bester (who's body took a beating from the night before) still managed to have good qualifying taking a 5th and 6th in his respective rounds. In the LCQ (last chance qualifier) Bester was looking to earn a spot in the Pro Lite Round 8 Final but an unfortunate tangle with another rider ended his weekend early in Fargo.

PRO AM PLUS 30 / LIEDERS

Pro AM Plus 30 rider, Andy Lieders continues his Podium streak in Fargo!

On Saturday, in Pro AM Plus 30, Lieders had another perfect day of racing, with taking 1st place in both of his qualifier rounds and taking the win in the Pro AM Plus 30 Final.

Lieders is the current points leader in the Pro AM Plus 30 Championship battle. Congrats Andy!

"Four podiums in Fargo! Wow! What an awesome weekend having Kyle Pallin back up on the box in the Pro Class, Adam Peterson on the podium both nights and keeping those Pro Lite red plates, and Andy Lieders perfect 1-1-1 day of racing. Hats off to the entire Team LaVallee crew for having our sleds dialed, we are excited to keep this momentum going into the second half of the season!" - Levi LaVallee
