Team LaVallee Delivers Back-to-Back Fourth-Place Overall Finishes in Salamanca

Longville, MN (February 24, 2026) – After battling in Valcourt, Quebec last weekend, Team LaVallee rolled straight into Salamanca, New York for back-to-back race action at the Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino. The Snocross Series made its 13th visit to the Empire State for Rounds 9 and 10, and with one of the largest Salamanca track layouts in recent years, fans were treated to fast, technical, elbow-to-elbow racing.

FRIDAY PRO ROUND 9ROUND 1
Heat 1 – Adam PetersonPeterson launched off the line aboard his Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull sled and immediately secured the second-place position. Maintaining strong pace throughout the heat, he applied steady pressure while defending his line to bring home a solid second-place finish.
Heat 2 – Ryley BesterBester mirrored the strong start, rocketing into second place off the gate. Riding smooth and controlled on the demanding Salamanca layout, he held position and crossed the line in second to cap off an impressive opening round for the team.
Round 2
Heat 1 – Adam Peterson and Ryley Bester
Peterson came off the line strong once again, immediately positioning himself in second place. Bester, meanwhile, got shuffled toward the back of the field early and settled into sixth. With a minute and a half remaining, the intensity ramped up. Peterson was overtaken by multiple riders in a tight battle and slipped back to fourth. Bester held steady through traffic and maintained his position. At the checkered flag, Peterson crossed the line in fourth, with Bester finishing sixth.
Round 9 Final
Peterson qualified fifth, with Bester lining up eighth for the 10-minute-plus-one-lap final. Both Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull sleds launched off the line with authority, and Ryley Bester captured the Studboy Holeshot Award. However, in the opening set of jumps on the first lap, Bester was pinched in tight racing and forced off the track, re-entering the race deep in the field. Peterson also encountered early traffic but regrouped quickly, settling inside the top five as the race developed.
With three minutes remaining, Peterson found another gear and worked his way into fourth. He applied heavy pressure on the rider in third, closing the gap corner after corner. As the checkered flag flew, Peterson narrowly missed the podium by a sled length, securing a strong fourth-place finish.
Bester continued to push through the field and crossed the line in 13th.

SATURDAY PRO ROUND 10ROUND 1
Heat 1 – Adam PetersonPeterson rocketed off the line aboard his Team LaVallee, Polaris, Red Bull sled and carried momentum around the outside to secure the second-place position early. Facing pressure from a stacked field, Peterson stayed aggressive and continued to push. After a tight battle mid-race, he ultimately crossed the line in fourth.
Heat 2 – Ryley BesterBester launched strong off the gate and immediately slotted into second. Finding quick, clean lines around the Salamanca circuit, he began closing in on the race leader while maintaining control over the riders behind him. Bester held steady and secured a solid second-place finish.
ROUND 2Heat 1 - Peterson and Bester
In a stacked Round 2 field, both Team LaVallee riders exploded off the gate, with Adam Peterson capturing the Stud Boy Holeshot Award. Early race shuffling quickly tightened the pack, with Peterson settling into fourth and Bester in sixth. As the challenging heat unfolded, both riders continued to push forward through traffic. Peterson worked his way back into third, while Bester battled hard to secure a fifth-place finish at the checkered flag.
Round 10 Final
The final race of the evening in Salamanca, New York saw both Team LaVallee riders lined up on the front row for the 10-minute-plus-one-lap main event.
Off the start, the field charged into turn one with Bester slotting into sixth and Peterson just behind in ninth. The pace was relentless as the pack battled through traffic on the demanding Salamanca layout.
Bester put on a determined ride, finding speed in key sections of the track and methodically working his way forward. Lap after lap, he chipped away at the field, ultimately charging to an impressive fourth-place finish just shy of the podium.
Peterson continued to fight in the stacked field, crossing the line in tenth to cap off the weekend.

ROOKIE SPORT - CODY MORAS
Rookie Sport rider Cody Moras returned to action in New York and delivered one of his strongest starts to a race weekend this season. Moras exploded off the line in both of his heat races, capturing back-to-back wins and earning the number one qualifying position heading into the Sport Final.
In the final, Moras came off the start in third and battled hard throughout the race. Despite slipping back two positions in the closing laps, he maintained composure and secured an impressive fifth-place finish — his best result yet in the Sport class.
Day 2 qualifying started off tough for Moras, with a seventh-place finish in Round 1. He quickly rebounded in Round 2, delivering a strong second-place result to regain momentum. To advance to the final, Moras lined up in the LCQ and rode his way into a transfer position with a third-place finish. Starting from the back row in the Sport Final, Moras charged through the field and capped off the New York weekend with an impressive seventh-place finish.
