CHARGING HARD IN JACKSON

Longville, MN (December 10, 2018) – For the second year in a row, Rounds 3 and 4 brought the ISOC Snocross National Series out west to beautiful Jackson Hole, WY. Snow King Mountain was the host to the second stop of the 2018-2019 season, a spot well-known to snowmobile enthusiasts as it’s been the home to the famous World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb for the past 43 years. The track at Snow King consisted of an up-hill start, following a technical whoop section back down the hill, and ending with a high-flying finish line jump. A track design which pleased the racers as well as the large crowd over the two day national.

PRO / PALLIN

Coming off of the first National race weekend in Duluth, MN, Pallin was looking and feeling like himself after a season-ending neck injury last year. Pallin was eager to take on the track in Jackson and hungry for a podium finish. With awesome qualifying throughout the weekend and taking two first placed finishes in qualifying on Friday and Saturday Pallin had secured front row positions in both Finals. On the line for the Friday Night Round 3 Final, Pallin had a great start on his Team LaVallee Polaris Red Bull sled and finished the 20 Lap final in an impressive 7th place position. For the Saturday, Round 4 Pro Final, Pallin had a mid-pack start and had his work cut out for him. Pallin was holding his 8th place position and fighting to bump up a spot, when him an another rider tagged sleds, causing Pallin and his sled to tip over and sink deep into the sugary snow, ending out the weekend in the 14th spot in Jackson.

PRO LITE / MASON

Zak Mason sat out Rounds 3 and 4, a decision determined early Friday morning as Mason’s shoulder injury he suffered in Duluth two weeks prior, had not repaired back to 100% for Jackson. With an additional 3 weeks off, Mason is set to return to racing in Shakopee.

PRO LITE / PETERSON

Adam Peterson had a challenging weekend of racing. The Rookie Pro Lite rider was able to make it into the Round 3 Friday Final, and finished that race out in the notable 8th place. And after tough qualifying on Saturday, Peterson just missed his chances for the Pro

Lite Round 4 Final Saturday night.

PRO LITE / DAUDT

Evan Daudt finished out the two day National very strong. For Friday, Round 3, Daudt took 9th and 4th in his qualifying rounds which gave him a back row spot for the final that night and finished in the 11th place position. Saturday, Daudt set new goals and exceeded them in his qualifying rounds where he won both of his heat races. On the line of the Pro Lite Round 4 Final, a questionable early jump by another rider caused confusion to the entire field of racers but without an official restart, Daudt pinned it off of the line and finished the Round 4 Pro Lite Final with an excellent 5th place.
