ROUNDS 3 & 4 BRING A PODIUM FINISH AND AN ADDED BOOST IN JACKSON

Longville, MN (December 11, 2017) – A new stop on the ISOC Snocross National Series brought us out west to beautiful Jackson Hole, WY. Rounds 3 and 4 were held at the base of Snow King Mountain, a spot well-known to snowmobile enthusiasts as it’s been the home to the famous World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb for the past 42 years. The course at Snow King consisted of an up-hill start, following a technical whoop section back down the hill, and ending with a high-flying finish line jump. A track design which pleased the racers as well as the large crowd over the two day national.

Round 3 kicked off on Friday afternoon and with the snow conditions being a sugary consistency and with little to no wind, the snow dust tended to just settle within the air – causing the visibility to be a bit of a challenge. But that did not hold back Team LaVallee’s riders from having an overall awesome day of racing. In Pro Lite, Zak Mason took 2nd and 3rd in his qualifying rounds and finished Friday night Round 3 in a notable 7th place spot. In Pro, Kyle Pallin secured his front row position with a 3rd and 6th place in qualifying, which allowed him a great gate pick for the Pro Round 3 Final. Off of the start, Pallin had a good jump but was pushed out in the first corner up the hill. After finding a smooth, fast line, Pallin was passing riders one-by-one and with 5 laps to go and fighting for the 4th place position, Pallin and another rider got tangled together and pushed Pallin back to the 9th place spot where he finished out the Friday night final.

Carrying that determination into Saturday’s racing, Mason (Pro Lite) won his second qualifying round and in the Pro Lite Round 4 Final (coming from the back row) Mason rode hard and consistent rounding out the weekend in the 6th place spot. In Pro, Pallin took 4th and 6th place in his qualifying rounds and was sitting in a good position for the Pro Round 4 final. Off of the start, Pallin had a good jump and was charging for the 3rd place position, when a tough off put Pallin back to the 9th place spot – however, with incredible drive, Pallin advanced back up to the impressive 4th place spot.

For Team LaVallee’s grassroots riders, Evan Daudt (Pro Lite) finished out the 2-Day National with a notable 9th place on Friday and 7th place on Saturday. Adam Peterson (Sport) had a very strong weekend of racing with taking a 6th place on Friday and earning his first podium of the season, with an awesome 2nd place finish for Round 4 on Saturday night.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Levi LaVallee, Glenn Kafka, and the entire crew at Team LaVallee. We look forward to seeing you all in January for Rounds 5 & 6 in Shakopee, MN.
